TESTIMONIALS
Central Baptist Church
Hoffmann Architectural designed and oversaw the building of our original 90,000 square foot church building in 2002. It was/is an amazing design that includes a Family Life Center, Commercial kitchen, adult and youth classrooms and a worship center that seats 1000. Hoffmann Architectural again helped design and refresh some areas in the facility a couple of years ago. It is both beautiful and practical in every sense of the word.
Three years ago, we added a 25,000 Children’s Building, new offices, and grand entrance with the help of Hoffmann Architectural. His design of that building has brought many great responses and caused other churches to tour and want his services in their remodel / building campaign.
Barry’s services helped us stay on point with our budget and kept add ons / changes to a minimum.
I would highly recommend Hoffmann Architectural to any person wanting a great job at a reasonable cost. He will be a “hands-on” partner and available every step of the way. He is easy to talk with, able to explain the “whys” of cost and construction and is creative in design and structure.
Central Baptist Church
Allow me to take this opportunity to express my appreciation and gratitude for the outstanding job you did for Central Baptist Church regarding the design for the new children’s building and updates to the existing facility. Your expertise was an asset and your cooperative spirit was a welcomed character trait that proved valuable. Your service to this project along with your integrity served our needs beyond our expectations.
Downtown Church of Christ
We recently had the pleasure of working with Barry Hoffmann to design and oversee the construction of a multistory 22,680 square foot children’s wing addition on our existing Worship Facility. Barry has been wonderful to work with in all respects. He is not only creative, organized, and professional, but also kind, considerate, and committed to the task at hand.
We had previously worked with Hoffmann Architectural on a successful 13,880 square foot renovation and addition to our Family Life Center. Barry produced an economical architectural solution that eased our growing pains and allowed us to maximize our seating capacity at minimum cost.
Both these projects are part of a Master Plan produced by Hoffmann Architectural which is guiding the physical expansion of our facilities to accommodate the growth of our church. The master plan not only casts a unique design vision for our site, but it also provides for organized development and aids in decision making for our leadership teams.
The Children’s Building project was challenging in many aspects. Some of the existing structure was very old, adding such a large addition and allowing good flow was complicated, and there were many drainage concerns to consider. The finished product overcame each of these challenges and more. The addition is both functional and compliments the site and older structures.
As with many ministry driven projects, our budget was tight and expectations were high. Barry worked diligently to ensure the most space, highest quality of construction, and best value available.
I see Barry as an architect who truly enjoys his work. He effectively balances both creativity and practicality considering what is best for the project at hand. He was also sincerely concerned about making everything work for us, from the smallest to largest detail of the project.
I highly recommend Barry and Hoffmann Architectural for any architectural design and building project. He has been a pleasure to work with and I would be happy to talk to anyone considering his firm.
Tara & Co Diamonds
After many years in business and much deliberation, we decided to build a stand-alone building for our retail jewelry store. One of the first decisions to be made was finding someone to work with on the building design. We had design ideas but they were pretty vague. We chose Hoffmann Architectural because of their excellent reputation in Searcy.
Working with Hoffmann Architectural was a pleasure. We needed someone to work with who had not only the expertise but the patience to walk us through the process. Barry was willing to work with ideas we came up with and also was excellent at making constructive suggestions.
We of course had budget constraints that affected design and features we were hoping to integrate. Barry was great at helping us reach as many of our goals as possible with the budget we were working with. We love the building we go to work in every day!
Being able to communicate with your architect is also a key feature. Hoffmann Architectural takes the stress out of communication as well. Easily scheduled meetings, fast response to emails, texts or phone calls made a huge difference in stress levels during our project.
If you are searching for an architect that is focused on giving you the best design and experience possible, Hoffmann Architectural is the place you need to be!
White County Extension Office
I would highly recommend Hoffmann Architectural to anyone looking to build or renovate buildings in this area. I have been very pleased with several projects Hoffmann Architectural has completed for White County, particularly the most recent renovation of our old Road Department shop building to a new state of the art facility housing our Extension Office. The area is beautiful and very functional for a variety of uses such as banquets and educational meetings. Hoffmann Architectural also renovated an old trucking company office into our new 9-1-1 Emergency Operations Center. The new center meets our needs beautifully and is also designed to withstand tornadoes.
I would describe Hoffmann Architectural as professional, proficient and extremely easy to work with. I expect to continue to do business with them in the near future. I would be more than happy to visit with potential customers about my very positive experience in dealing with Hoffmann Architectural.
Searcy Fire Dept.
From design to completion Hoffmann Architectural was great to work with. They took our ideas of colors, fixtures, appliances, along with theirs and blended them together. Barry would make visits to the construction site to make sure things were getting done and staying on time. We would have weekly construction meetings with the general contractor. He would call or e-mail me if he had questions about the progress of the project. We are really enjoying our building and have had a lot of great comments on how the building looks. The rock that is on the building came from the Batesville area, which I thought was pretty neat that we had a local natural stone for our project. Our building is meeting our needs and will continue to do so for years to come. I would recommend Hoffmann Architectural for your design and construction needs.
Searcy Fire Dept.
We have worked with Hoffmann Architectural Firm for a number of years; most recently on the construction of Fire Station 2 in the Northeast area of our city. This facility is important for a number of operational reasons, but most importantly, new developments in personnel safety related to the design, construction, and maintenance of fire stations have become a “hot button” topic in recent years. With these important issues in mind, we selected Hoffmann Architectural Firm from Searcy, Arkansas to oversee the design and construction of this critical building and we have benefited immensely from that decision. Mr. Hoffmann himself was very hands-on and accessible throughout the duration of the project – pre-construction, during construction, and continues to regularly check in two years after completion of the facility.
To sum up the results: it exceeds all expectations; we love it. The new station is truly a building to be proud of. It not only exceeds all operational and safety criteria specified, but the creativity of Mr. Hoffmann directly contributes to functionality we never considered. The inevitable issues encountered during construction and upon completion were dealt with promptly, professionally, and diligently. The building is honestly beautiful. Our team had general ideas of what we were looking for in terms of color palettes, but the experience Mr. Hoffmann brought to the project completely enhanced the aesthetics of the building.
In addition to critical city infrastructure, this building is also home to 12 people and he was able to blend the commercial and residential functions of the building seamlessly. In short, I could not be happier with Hoffmann Architectural Firm and would strongly recommend them to anyone with a project requiring professional design and oversight and would be more than happy to speak to anyone with questions.
